Barry A. Hyman Photography

Barry A. Hyman trained in photographic technique the old fashioned way. He apprenticed with many great New York commercial photographers.

After numerous apprenticeships, Barry continued to hone his skills in architecture, still life and portraiture as a Senior Photographer at Christie’s. At the end of his tenure at Christie’s Mr. Hyman directed a digital photo studio for a commercial real estate online venture.  

In 1998 Barry founded Granite Studios LLC in Westport Connecticut. Since opening Granite Studios, Barry has become one of Fairfield County’s leading high-end digital professional photographers. He has been delivering architectural, exterior, interior, real estate, commercial, corporate, still life, landscape, environmental portraiture and stock photography to architects, builders, realtors, corporate businesses, interior and landscape designers for more than 30 years.

Barry’s artistic lighting expertise, his natural gift for composition, strong visual sensibilities and unique perspective allow him to deliver powerful images that capture the drama, stylistic details and nuances of a home, person or project creating an immediate and lasting impact that moves people and engages viewers

Always with a camera in hand, you might see him around Westport standing on park benches, jumping from stone walls, or in the middle of the street - to capture a unique shot.
